Intel struck a sweet spot
I've noticed with the recent Northwood C along with Canterwood/Springdale..A lot more Intel users are popping around.
I highly recommend the ASUS P4P800 Deluxe to any Northwood B or C users. Simply the best MoBo out on the P4 Market today (Bang/Buck Ratio)

I think that will change with AMD 64 chips..
It will be I have 64 Bits AMD and you will have your 32 Bits Intel but yes the current OC favour is with intell but I still like my Barton 3200xp + a lot as well |

which is a very nice cpu. unfortunatley it costs more & is slower than intels top of the 'sweetspot' line.

Never meant this to be a AMD v.s Intel thing
Sorry about that Wyre. But I just wanted to give a heads up on what is happening on the Intel side of things. This whole forum seems to be more AMD than Intel

good heads up. though does not seem to be appreciated around here. i guess i get overly defensive on the whole amd/intel thing. i just can not stand that 'fanboy' thing about anything. got to look at all the options & make an informed choice- wether you go amd or intel or anything else for that matter.
i think the p4c line has a very good price/performance ratio. especially with that p4p800 dx! my next setup! hopefully should have mb,cpu, ram, in 3-4weeks. i actually was looking at a nforce2 setup until this came out.

Just look at the benches..
I don't have a 2.4C, but if you look at my PCMark2002 score over at the Benching forum
Very nice indeed.
