Nod32 Anyone?

Been having some issues with NAV2003, which between us we cannot resolve. So have decided to give another anti-virus ago.

Now i am well aware of the amount of anti-virus software available but i do not mind paying for something that is really good. No point in mentioning AVG as i already have bought that. Like 3 years ago.

Been playing the net and i see that NOD32 seems to come out on top in most reviews! This true guys and girls I see a new version of NOD has just been released and before i start to empty me wallet any NOD users comments or any others for that matter would be appreciated.

Thanks

Spend money on software, ha.. I laugh at you. I suggest PC Cillin.. I think it's the 2nd best anti-virii out there.. dont know which one is first.

Panda Anti-Virus is a great one. Pretty much anything will do the job if you surf "those" websites like I know some of y'all do or get "those" emails like everyone else at the company. If anything, see if they have some trial version of their software so you don't plunk down your cash for a crappy product. I get trial versions of stuff all the time, and I liked Panda the most, but I'm too cheap to pay for a subscription so I'll stick to a freeware one like AVG.

Ive used nortons antivirus for years, and found it fantastic. but something weird happened when I got the barton, when I installed it, I noticed my benches suffered a drop. when it was running. so ive did another clean install and im not running any antivirus atm (just my firewall, Adware and !batmail secure. until I find a good one myself which wont hog the CPU.........

I paid for AVG pro a while ago, so ill maybe install that later.

I think NAV2003 leave a pretty big footprint on the system, and i would like a low resource efficient anti-virus. NOD32 is supposed to be just that, so does PC-Cillin apparently.

No NODDY users here

AVG free edition is well worth the download! I would highly suggest that anyone that is looking for a anti-virus that has a small footprint, doesnt hog the system, and doesnt take over the OS like AOL...

I already bought than one 3 years ago, but at this time of year, my mail box along with other work issues mean i receive a ton of stuff. Half the time as its work related you never know for sure who its coming from. Hence the need for a top AV with small footprint.

Been cruising around and i reckon i will try the trial version of NOD32. Then make a decision.

Thanks guys

i like this new interface of nod32 v.2 so i use it on win XP now, may be too soon but i would say its abit better than pc-cillin, mail-scan and local scan are also faster!
