Need Some Help

A friend of mine has asked my assistance with a problem he is having and I don't know how to advice him. I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

When I try to load the software, I get a message saying "VISTA 64 is not a supported operating system."

Can I add an XP or VISTA32 boot partition without blowing away the nice, solid factory install of VISTA64??????

Anybody got any suggestions or ideas?

Install "virtual machine" and then install vista 32 bit on it .... that could help solve his issue, he can then install his software on the virtual machine .
