Question about Kingston DDR2 Hyper-X 1066 Memory.
Question about Kingston DDR2 Hyper-X 1066 Memory.
I need to know the proper clocking settings to set my memory sticks in BIOS. these are the choices I am given: 400 533 800 1067 My DDR2 Hyper-X series memory sticks by the company Kingston, can MAX at 1066 Mhz. But I don't know the proper clock settings & volts for it. Can someone help and post a proper clock setting so I can set my memory to do 1066.? I want to get the full potential of my memory sticks. I have a Pair of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820104062 and a Pair of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820104060 Which makes a total of 8 gigs of DDR2 Ram installed. Thank you.

Re: Question about Kingston DDR2 Hyper-X 1066 Memory.
I believe they require 2.2vdim to run at 5 5 5 15, don't count me on it though I'm jus remembering off the otp of my head wiithout googling :P try using cpuz and check the SPD section.

Re: Question about Kingston DDR2 Hyper-X 1066 Memory.
I believe thats wrong, because these Hyper-X DDR's is not suppose
to go above 2 volts as said by Kingston Company. and you posted 2.2vdim. Sorry, but im not going to go configure off CPU-Z. This is why I asked for an experienced person to post the info. last thing I need now is to blow my DDR's I appreciate the gesture. thanks.

Re: Question about Kingston DDR2 Hyper-X 1066 Memory.
Both those kits are only rated for 1066 @ 7-7-7-20 timings, you are showing 5-5-5-15 timings in your rig specs so I doubt you will get 1066 out of them with those timings.

Re: Question about Kingston DDR2 Hyper-X 1066 Memory.
they're also spec'd at 2.0v so 2.1-2.2 might help with the timings
