Strange problem
Hi:
I am experiencing an issue with my rig: 1.Every time I restart the PC the memory testing stops and the whole computer doesn't respond. 2.Tried removing the battery , rams and resetting bios but didn't work. 3. After removing the graphics card the pc started normally and worked fine. After that I attached it again still no problems but after restarting this problem repeated. What is happening in my rig? Is it a MB or GPU issue , I didn't update the bios as I think it is not the problem.

Re: Strange problem
With the power off, re-seat the ram, any cards and your power connections and see if anything changes.

Re: Strange problem
Thank you guys , the problem is solved it is not related to any of these however. It was the the [SD/MMC] card reader once I unplugged it from the usb port the system boots normally,I don't know a logic reason for this hmm

Re: Strange problem
Glad you got is sorted I get a similar thing on my ASUS board if I leave a USB stick in that's not formatted to boot.

Re: Strange problem
I don't normally think "USB" for boot problems as I don't have many that would be plugged in at boot. But I have heard of stuff like that. Glad to got it figured out and it's that simple. Does the card reader work once you're booted up?

Re: Strange problem
the BIOS may be set to boot from other devices and is searching the Card reader looking for something to boot from

Re: Strange problem
The bios is on Default setting and Tyrsonwood , it works fine after booting
but the card has a virus or worm mostly I can't open it with double click or right clicking then choosing open, I have to click on the folders icon and choose the card drive to explore it.

Re: Strange problem
usually for boot issues related to USB... try and find an option in the bios and either disable or enable (which ever it's set to current, change it to the other).. it's called USB Legacy Support...
some machines just don't seem to agree with which ever way it's set which confuses the hell out of me... one machine will prefer it enabled.. another disabled....
