Re: Driverdetective (Program) Thoughts?

I used one once seemed to do the job OK but I was just being lazy - I could have done the research and found the driver myself

Re: Driverdetective (Program) Thoughts?

I remember using it since month and it was even advertised on Gigabyte site ,it was free for scanning and detecting but whenever you want to update your drivers to the recent updates it asks you for registration >>$$ , bullshit.

I prefer to update drivers by myself then if not for the money it will to avoid wrong update , unrecommended one or a stupid malware.

Re: Driverdetective (Program) Thoughts?

I've used pcpitstop.com before, and their free driver scan. Works fine if you use very old drivers. Saves time, that's all.

I did exactly the same thing. At first I thought it might be OK, but when it hit me up for the bucks - no way.

Especially when you can get quality programs like Secunia, Gameshadow and Radarsync for free.
