9800 GX 2 problem freeze blank screen plz help

9800 GX 2 problem freeze blank screen plz help
Hi i Have a NVIDIA GForce 9800 GX 2 graphic card and when i play a game in 2-5 mins my screen goes black and sound is looping,

I use Windows Vista 64bit Ultimate
Processor : Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Quad CPU q9300 @ 2,4GHz ~ 2,5 GHz
Ram: 4.00 DDR3 Corsair

Also downloaded the latest omega nvidia drivers

plz help me

I know this sounds obvious, but have you tried uninstalling the drivers, using a driver cleaning program and instaling the latest Nvidia drivers from Nvidia's website?

Omega drivers aren't that popular for Nvidia cards right now, so it wouldn't surprise me if there is dubious performance with a quirky card like the 9800GX2.

Also, coukd we have some more detailed system specs please? For example what power supply are you using, what cooling do you have and is your PC overclocked?

ok here are some details

1) my PC isnt overclocked
2) my power supply is at 900watt
3) i have 3 coolers and 1 on my NVIDIA
generally i dont think its overheat problem

something i forgot this problem appears only on games . when i hear music or anything else on my PC all works fine

Ok, a little further so we can rule this out

2):What brand and model of power supply?
3):What case are you using, and when you say "3 coolers", do you mean 3 case fans or a CPU cooler and 2 case fans?

the card new? jus started using the card? or you've had it for some time and the problems have just occurred? what sound card are you using and which drivers? Installed any other hardware recently ?
