Pissed Winamp3 bugs.

I know Winamp3 has a SHITLOAD of bugs, and its a waste of time.. but I just decided to try it and I love the skins, they are friggin amazing!!! But every time I try to enqueue a bunch of songs at once, or even just ONE song at once while another song is playing, I get this error and I'm forced to shut Winamp3 down.

AppName: studio.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.488 ModName: wasabi.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00068058

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I stay away from Winamp3. It is bloated and slow compared to Winamp 2.X.

It is slower..

Tek, did you try to download Winamp3 again lately? Because I heard of some silent updates for it. I don't have that problem you mentioned.

Being able to use nice skins with Winamp3 just isn't worth the slowness, problems, and instability that it brings along. Winamp 2.9x for life!

Yep, just uninstalled that beautiful Winamp3 because of all the bugs, and reinstalled Winamp 2.9x -- but its wierd, when I'm listening to a stream on Winamp, and I'm typing.. as I am right now, I hear corruption of sound when I type... like the music stops for half a sec every word I type.. it's pissing me off!!!!

Did u try this version?
http://ftpwa.newaol.com/customize/co...l_build498.exe
It's the least buggy and the equalizer doesn't "normalize" if you disable the option in the configuration.

I fully agree man... I tried Winamp3 when it first came out... sucked ass then, but I thought they fixed some things by now, but no.... same buggy program.

With the #498 version the only problem is that if u go thru the visualizations by clicking next, it crashes on some of them. And the worst thing about Winamp3 crashing is that all ur songs disappear from the playlist and sometimes there's this other bug that when u add ur songs back they disappear every time winamp3 is started. Right now I'm using Winamp 2.92 because winamp 3 is still too buggy.

How can you stand #488. After a few minutes the equalizer returns to a flat line not matter what you do. Only #498 doesn't do that when you disable it in the config utility.
