Warning: Roccat Kone v1 fails - get v2

My Roccat Kone mouse just broke AGAIN! This is my second Kone mouse and both of them died after 2 months.

Or to be more precise the mouse wheel isn't working anymore and apparently this is a known problem on Roccat Kone mice

A version 2 should be out, where this problems is fixed (hopefully), so if you plan on getting this mouse, which btw is awesome on every other point, make sure you get a version 2.

Now I have to deal AGAIN with RMA and making sure I'm getting a v2 this time *sigh*

That sucks dude have you emailed someone in support? This sounds like a design flaw

It is a design flaw. I don't know how they missed this in testing, because for some it breaks down, after a few weeks

I contacted their support yesterday, because the store I bought the mouse from, doesn't know anything about a v2 of the mouse and doesn't seem interested in making sure I get on of those

Properly because they want to get rid of their current v1

If it has been updated you should be entitled to that version .. hope tech support can help you out.

After almost one month, I've received my new Roccat Kone, plus a Roccat Sense mouse-pad, because of the long waiting time

The local danish distributor fucked up several times, but Michael Walde from Speedlink (Roccat distributor in Europe) has been amazing, helping me out several times!
