modem-router ?

I am looking for a good cheap modemrouter with wi-fi and normal connections.

It will have to have 1-2 ethernet connections and ability to connect about 4 systems through wi-fi. Gaming is VERY important. So it will have to be very easy to set up and not have any problems in that respect.

Asus is interesting. The wireless on their routers beam through just about anything. I have this one client that I must have tried a half dozen different Linksys, Dlink, and Netgear routers with, and none of them would beam more than 20 feet through a glass wall. A GLASS WALL! I put the Asus WL-500g Premium in there temporarily, and the next minute I get a call from them saying they're keeping it. The damn thing is beaming 80 feet down the building, and at that distance they get a contsistant 80% connection rate on channel 11, all through 3 glass walls! And the SOAB only has 1 antenna!

Damndest thing I ever saw. I just wish their routers weren't so expensive.

I am using Thomson routers they are good on the long run , the computers connected are running 24/7 for months now and no problem but don't know about the reliability of their WiFi .
