hows the "Building a new computer and not sure where to start?" thread for you guys?

this thread: Building a new computer system and not sure where to start? Click Here! (6/23/09)

in my constant struggle to get people more performance for their dollar, ive been updating the thread regularly to have the latest and greatest hardware compilations for every USD price range.

so now i ask, how do you, my fellow DHers like the things i put into this thread? and is there any way you think i can make it better?

feel free to be completely honest!

You do great work with that thread, constantly up-dating it as products change, become unavailable, new items come out, etc. I know a lot of guys get some great ideas from you and your guidelines. Keep on, man!

Truly, it is a good thread, but it must be a difficult job ( time consuming). Thanks/keep up the good work!

Re: hows the "Building a new computer and not sure where to start?" thread for you gu

Brilliant job kris[topher], as it was from it's concept at the very beginning. Loads of hard work for you too just to keep it current.

I keep meaning to put this into the feedback forum but forget. The excellent guide (step-by-step how to build a pc) written by you and Nathan should be stickied in this forum as they go together hand-in-hand. It's in the wrong place in the DH news forums.

In fact half the guides are in the wrong place. There are 'how to lap' and 'how to test a psu using a multimeter' guides for instance in the wrong forums imo - they should also be here, and many of the other guides should be moved to their correct forums. I might start another thread though in feedback.

Back to your question though. I voted excellent.
