Kodak Easyshare z650(b) won't accept SD's 4gb or more?
Had a customer come in and purchase initially a 8gb OCZ SD card. Didn't hear back from them for nearly 3 months until he apparently tried to use it.
Long story short, The camera tries to continueously format the card over and over again but nothing... tried a 4gb and same thing.. tried a 2gb.. and all was fine. Trying to find stuff on the internet related to the camera but nothing really conclusive at all. I HATE Kodak.... frankly anyone i've seen with a kodak has always told me they hate the software and they find while when the camera's work.. they aren't very friendly at all. I'm guess this is a limitation kodak has infused into the cameras..... Meanwhile plenty of cheaper alternative camera's are chewing away on the 16gb sd cards i've sold. Anyone else out there with kodak or knowing anything about this camera has an idea?

C-, M-, V-, and Z-series cameras accept SD and SDHC Cards.
SD/SDHC Card Sizes We recommend KODAK SD Cards (up to 2 GB) and KODAK SDHC Cards (up to 8 GB). - from Kodak.com Self-Service Looks like you'll have to try a SDHC card.

I have a Z730, and it's clearly stated in the manual (you know that thing that 'real men' don't read), that it only takes a 2GB max card.
They don't 'hide' that information, unless you think that putting something in the owner/operator manual is hiding it.

depends on how old the camera is Craig (your quote missed the "2007 and newer" part from here), older camera's WON'T support SDHC, and Judas, being the seller, should have known that, or at least checked before selling the Camera quick check though, if the Camera box has the SDHC logo, then it'll work, if it doesn't, probably won't (I sell consumer grade digital cameras as part of my job, including Kodak ones, so I know what to look for) EDIT: just checked the manual for that camera, it's only rated for a 1Gb card, so you're lucky that the 2GB card worked, I've had customers come back with older Kodak's that won't even accept a 2Gb card, when a 1Gb works perfectly

Wait how in the hell did this get turned around that i sold this person a camera? I didn't..... sold him a SD card....
The thing that is odd is the fact that when the 8gb sd card was installed, the camera seemed to have no problems with it at all.. usually with all the camera's i've delt with, if it don't work.... it's apparent emediately.
