Re: OCZ 1000w 80+ GOLD Certified PSUs
What a monster.
I'm a big fan of OCZ PSU's, even if they are all made by Seasonic or FSP but so far my GameXstream hasn't let me down. The voltages look a little shakey by they are within the norm. I'm thinking of picking up a replacement module PSU from them when I do my upgrade. I'd love to see a review on this. |

Re: OCZ 1000w 80+ GOLD Certified PSUs
Does anyone actually need a 1000W for their supply or are their benefits to having such an excess?
The calculators I have run on my system put typical usage at around 250-300w. Surely even a quad core, 2xSLI system wouldn't be using anywhere near 1000W |

OCZ is 'OK' I guess, but thier reputation has been somewhat spotty as far as quality goes. I'll stick with Corsair. Especially for PSU's as every PSU in their line-up is top notch for quality.
