The only HD that failed on me was a Maxtor. lol. I'm never buying one from them again.

Doesn't that AM3 board only use dual channel DDR3?
Also that board looks like an awesome Crossfire mobo, why not go for 4770x2 (if you can find one), 2 4770s on crossfire beats the 4890 and its around the same price range.

PCs use less and less power these days (smaller die on cpu/gpu, powersaving mobos, etc) hell you can use an Antec BP550 for core 2 duo + crossfire 4870 + 3 HD + DVD and its not even sweating yet. Just worry about the 12v rail and how much A your video card needs instead of the total watts.
