Re: Need advice on new station purchase.
Graphics card: Since you are buying a new gaming computer and you have a relatively large budget, I'd suggest going for some of ATI 5000 cards. They are the latest generation and the only ones at the moment which support DX11. The problem is that the cheapest one of them is slightly above your budget of 760nis, the one by Sapphire is 840 and Gigabyte's is 860. Still, you may want to consider them. Both manufacturers are fairly renown and you won't make a mistake with either. Out of the cards that fit your budget, I'd go for ATI 4850 by ASUS. It's roughly as fast as a 5750 when they run a game at the same settings, but it's a generation older, so it doesn't support DX11 (and it's also made with an older process so it uses more power). Nvidia's cards in that list are slightly overpriced, the only one worth any consideration is Zotac GTX 260at 790nis. Like 4850, it's DX10 only but it's decently powerful (though I think that the 4850 would be a slightly better choice). The GTS 250 is a much weaker card.
I have no idea how quiet the particular coolers and PSUs are, so I'll leave that to others. |

Re: Need advice on new station purchase.
For the GPU , I recommend you spend other money and get one of 5xxx series for the DX11 support , better technology and less power consumption. The best one right now in performance/value is 5770 which in your list is 990 nis ( I recommend going with sapphire).
For the PSU I suggest crosair HX 620W or more watts you can check DH review here http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/...620W/index.htm As for the coolers me myself I would go with Zalman. Another suggestion , if you didn't buy the HDD yet , I recommend going with WD Black caviar , I got one and I really liked the speed with no noise. I recommend you give DH review index a look and decide which ones to get. http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews.php

Re: Need advice on new station purchase.
Since you are saying that you want a good GAMING system, unless you absolutely HAVE to have an Intel CPU, you will get a better bang for the buck with AMD. Intel's ix CPUs do outperform the AMDs in certain applications, but for GAMING they are pretty much equal. A Phenom II 955 or 965 will give you as much, or more, performance in GAMING than the i7 920, and at a lower cost. Also, AMD motherboards tend to be a bit less costly as well.
For the PSU, unless you are going to be adding a 2nd card in Crossfire or SLI, and aren't going to be doing overclocking, I'd recommend the Corsair HX520. It's modular and will power that system with room to spare. One thing to remember about Corsair. They rate their PSUs at max CONTINUOUS output, and they also seem to under-rate them. Their "520" is equivalent to most 550s and even some 'lesser makers' 600-650s. If you still want more power then I'd suggest the TX650. It will do SLI/Crossfire if you want to do that. It's not modular, but the case you have selected has enough room in it to hide most of the cables. For cooling the CPU, it wouldn't hurt to investigate the Corsair H50 if it's available there (I'm assuming that 'there' is Israel?). The H50 is competitive in pricing to the better air-coolers, and is pretty quiet as well. For a GPU, I'd have to recommend the 5770, if you can find one. Very good price/performance, and a lower power requirement than the 4xxx series.

Re: Need advice on new station purchase.
Change RAM, you've chosen a triple-channel kit (which has three sticks), while socket 1156 motherboards and CPUs are dual-channel (so ideally you want 2 or 4 sticks).
Check to see if the cooler is socket 1136 compatible! It has been updated to add support for the socket, but you need to check if yours is an updated version as, being older than the socket, it originally lacked the mounting bracket for it. Otherwise, it's okay, I think that it should be fairly quiet (haven't had it myself) though it's not one of the highest performing (but decent enough). The graphics card would not have been my personal choice, but it's good, just check if it's a 216SP model. EDIT: A minor detail, make sure you get the case and the DVD drive in matching colours. I only saw the case in black on Google and the drive description you gave says beige.

Re: Need advice on new station purchase.
Besure to get WD black not the green one because they are slow and have many issues , about the case I didn't hear of it but this shouldn't be an issue.
For the Gpu you chose GTx 260 which is 900 nis from your list , I highly recommend you move up to Sappire HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 DX11 2xDVI HDMI DP PCI-E 990 or down Sapphire 5750 which is 840. If I were you I would choose 5770 though.
