Re: low resolution gaming
The 250 isn't a bad card (although as Liqourice says, yesterday's tech). It's benchmarked in the reviews I linked to, so you can have a direct comparison.

Re: low resolution gaming
I think all have been said in this statement, about the gt250, I would not buy it, 4850 is much faster, also a 5750 is not a bad choice, but I would follow the statement written above

![]() Iwe just ordered a 1gb 5770, and i made a great bargin with a friend, that included me getting his brand new OCZ 500W StealthXStream in exchange for my cx 400 and a little cash.. I just wasnt happy with running a 5770 on a 400w psu

Re: low resolution gaming
what?
the pci-ex port on the motheboard is faulty? that really sucks.. i've noticed that quite often on some of the Dell and HP computers recently.... ports there, wires are on... but for some reason many video cards will not boot and detect

Re: low resolution gaming
It really sucks..
But i have been wondering, it says on the package from the gfx that it needs to be running on a psu with a 12v rail with a minimum of 40a. Is that reallly needed? And my psu has a dual 12v rail with 18a on each. |

Re: low resolution gaming
if the PSU is good... 18amp x2 should suffice for a 5770....
