pretty straight forward, what's the best bang-for-buck gaming card for around the £70uk mark??
should say, its not my money, so that ^ is the limit, give or take a pound or 2

i was gonna get a GeForce GT 240 1GB, but i've not really been keeping up with the gfx card market recently (or nvidia's naming policy come to that.. ), so would appreciate any advice / suggestions from you learned folk

oh, it's gonna be replacing a 9500GT if that has any bearing at all.

but at this sort of money i'd only be looking at a HD 5570, wouldn't i? and i've not read encouraging things about those in comparison to GT240 for example.

while i can't say anything about the 5570 or similare.... it all depends on what it costs.. cause what i'm seeing for for the same price as the cheapest 240 that i can get, i can get a 5670 by sapphire

it's a very nice card...

personally i'd take it over the 240 any day.. but that might just be me.

does it perform better? I'd say on average yes

Go 5670 of course , man. DX11 , noise , heat , power consumption all screaming at you to get one of the 5xxx cards .
