friend's replacing his computer, need build advice

My buddy's taking his old compy out back and hitting it with a shovel, a few times. So he'll be looking to build a new one to take its place. I figured I'd get some advice from you guys on what he ought to spend his money on. Here are some details:

Budget: $800.
Purpose: Gaming and opening up an obscene amount of Firefox tabs.
Parts needed: Case, Processor, CPU cooler, Motherboard, Memory, Graphics, PSU, CD/DVD drive and probably Windows 7. And maybe a drive, see notes.
Already has: keyboard, mouse and monitor.
Notes: He wants the fastest/strongest CPU his budget can buy, and will be overclocking it moderately. He may also reuse his 8800gts alongside the new graphics card (thinking physX?). He may also reuse a 250Gb SATA hard drive.

Re: friend's replacing his computer, need build advice

for 800 Id say:

COOLER MASTER RC-690 Case $70
Phenom II x4 BE processor $160
GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4 AM3 $114
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro $35
4gb Gskill 1600mhz ddr3 $105
LG DVD-rw $24
SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100283VXL Radeon HD 5770 1GB $170
Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W $55
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM $80

that = 805 to squeeze in win 7 you could go with a cheaper mobo and switch to the athlon II x4.

Win 7 100$
