Re: Help with Ram.

I'm assuming it'll be a gaming rig so I'd say 2 x 2GB because:
A - You'll never need 4GB, not alone 6GB RAM for a gaming PC.
B - Two sticks in dual-channel seems to work better than multiple sticks in more than dual-channel (excluding tri-channel).

I'd suggest going for low latency 1600MHz as it seems to be a better bang for your buck. If you're more of a performance person than cost then by all means choose 2GHz.

Re: Help with Ram.

The 6GB sets, (3x 2GB) are3 intended for Intel I7 with the triple memory bus.
For the AMD's dual bus, I'd keep it balanced with a 4GB set.

Re: Help with Ram.

Yes, with an AMD you have to use either two or four sticks, never three. So, if you feel you need more than 4GB you need to get 8GB, otherwise you will lose dual channel mode.
