Hi everybody,
Recently I started a lot of threads about my future computer and I finally have almost final version I just wanted to ask what do you think about it and if all components are compatible.
Motherboard : MSI P55-GD80 - Intel P55
Graphic Card : Sapphire HD 5870 Vapor?-X ?
Case : CoolerMaster HAF 932
Keyboard : Saitek Cyborg Keyboard V7
Headset : Creative HS-1100 Tournament Gaming
Mouse : CM STORM Sentinel
Monitor : Samsung SyncMaster P2450H
HDD : 2x Samsung SpinPoint F3 HD103SJ - 1TB (one for OS)
RAM : A-DATA + Series 4GB(If anyone can suggest better one that isnt too expensive go ahead)
Processor : Intel Core i5-760 (I will definitely pick Intel just not 100% sure if this one)

DVD ROM: LG GH22NS

which i7 should I buy? Also I found out my motherboard supports only dual channel so any recommendations on new one?

The motherboard/cpu and memory are all tied in together.

If you go for socket 1156, i7/i5 and DDR3 you get dual channel
If you go for socket 1366 and i7 with DDR3 you get the third channel.

There are a few really good value boards on 1366 at the moment, they are the ASRock Extreme 3, Asus P6X58D-E and Gigabyte X58A-UD3R. All have your 3 channel requirement and use SATA 3/ USB3 for good futureproofing.

thanks I need to ask few more things which monitor would be best in price category of the old one I planned to buy, which RAM I should buy (in best case 6GB) and is this good PSU OCZ GameXStream 850W | Alza.cz ?

Another thing, for the monitor better get a backlit led one , This one is in the same range as you posted but led instead. Led monitors are far better in colors especially in gaming and dark scenes. Although yours has lower response time but believe me it won't matter much compared to the difference between the image quality between the two monitors.

OCZ has had some good, as well as some bad series of PSUs, so they wouldn't be my first choice. The 750W Corsair model Veridian3 recommended would be a good choice for your system, it has plenty of power, so even if, for example, you decide to get a second 5870, it would be enough.

As for RAM, for the configuration from your first post, just get a 4GB kit and if you decide to switch to a Socket 1366, go for 6GB for triple-channel. Get a kit with long warranty. If you don't intend to overclock, no need to go for the extreme kits, they can cost an arm and a leg yet they don't make the system that much faster.

Well, theory says yes, as max TDP for a 5870 is "just" 188W, and here's practice, 561W for two 5870s under full load. That's in a system with an i7 OCed to 4GHz, so a quality 750W PSU like that Corsair should handle it no problem.

I switched to this mobo Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R - Intel X58 so I could use some tips on 6gb rams, if nothing better shows up I will pick this monitor Samsung SyncMaster BX2440 and I could use help which case to pick out of these.

Considering that a PSU might lose 10% (iirc) per year and that I prefer to have a bit of extra power just in case, I wouldn't go for a 750W one with a 5870 crossfired.

No, the specs in the OP won't work because it's got an MSI motherboard. Everyone I know that has had an MSI product has had issues with drivers. I'm an ASUS fan, personally, but I won't rule out Gigabyte.
For the CPU, you won't go wrong with the 920 if you're going down the 1366 route but also consider the slightly more expensive 930, which has that extra stock power. The 940 is substantially more expensive than the 930, however. Also to consider is an after-market cooler. The stock fan for the 1366 processors don't seem to keep them all that cool. Mine, for example, was about 55 degrees at idle temperature with the stock cooler.
For the case, pick which one you like the looks of the best. Out of those three cases they're pretty even so specs won't be an issue.
For the PSU, yeah Corsair is regarded as the dog's bananas but don't rule out OCZ, Thermaltake and other reputable manufacturers. The GameXstream that you mentioned should do the job nicely with plenty of room to play around.

This would be more suited question to someone else:
Would the Vapour X 5870 efficiently expel heat if used in Crossfire? With pretty much any motherboard if you dual them up they're a few millimetres away from each other. With the design of the graphics card, won't it have bad circulation?

As a user of the CM Storm Sentinel, I wouldn't recommend it. The mouse is too slippery (my hands rarely sweat if ever), and it doesn't always feel like you are in control of it to the point of feeling relaxed or not feeling you are using a mouse.
I don't know if there is any newer, but up to driver released a few months ago, they kinda sucked. Each time you loaded the program to set up the mouse, it would reset the acceleration of the pointer for no good reason and good luck remembering what exactly you had the last time. Also it is overcomplicated in terms of interface.

Apart from the slippery surface, there is nothing wrong per se about it, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Might I suggest a Logitech G500, or if you can spend more money a Logitech G9 or G9x.

I didn't try Samsung SyncMaster BX2440 myself but I can definetly tell you that LED is better LCD screens, I saw both in action beside each others but they wern't the same models , probably Sony's.

For headset, get one of the Razer products, they are very comfortable.
For headphones, I always prefer the mid-high range of AKG. K-272S is awesome, but it isn't a headset.

I am starting to having doubts about my keyboard, any suggestions? Is Razer Carcharias good?, and I would like keyboard with backlit programmable keys.

Keyboard? Are you going to type a lot? If yes then it is very subjective. If you are going to use it mainly for gaming and some light stuff, then any backlight keyboard should do just fine. Just get what you like more in terms of looks and features.

I like Logitech keyboards, but they are too expensive, at least their high end models. Razer has some good keyboards, just get the one you find more attractive.

I don't have experience with the G19, but it looks like an updated version of the G15 v2 I have.
I am sure it is a great keyboard, although don't rely on it to win you games, no keyboard can do that. As usual the price for high end keyboards by Logitech is way inflated. If money is no issue and you like the looks, get it.
