7.1 Surround Sound not fully working!!

Hey all,

Wanted to use a 7.1 speaker surround sound system. Pretty sure my audio card and system hardware can support it. plugged all speakers in and had a problem with the Left side speaker not producing any sound during tests.

Plugged in other speakers to the left side socket and still not working. I have given details of my system and speaker system to see if anything i have there is set wrong or doesn't support 7.1 surround sound.

MY system:

CPU: Intel E8400 @ 3.0Ghz~

Mobo: Asus P5N-E SLi

RAM: OCZ Reaper 4GB Kit

V/Card: nVIDIA 9800GT

HDD: Western digital 500GB

Sound: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 @ Sample rate - 96Khz/ bit depth - 24 bit

Speaker system:

Creative Inspire T7900

All 7 speakers connected (1x center/ 2x Front / 2x Side / 2x Back)

Configuration: Direct (options: Upmix 5.1 - 7.1 / Upmix 6.1 - 7.1)
