Advent 7082 Wifi Problem

Hello Everyone, I am having problems with my wifi on my 7082. It connects to the internet for a few seconds and then loses connection for a few seconds and then reconects for a few seconds and so on... I have tried replacing the card (Q802MKG) but it still does the same thing. can anyone help me???

UPDATE!!!!! I took it to a friends house and it connected to his network with no problems, came back and same problem occured. Someone told me it could be my dect phones so i turned all 4 off disconnected it from the wall and unplugged it but still it does the same. All other laptops in the house work ok with the network so #I am at a loss and totally bamboozled. PLEASE PLEASE someone give me an idea what I can try next!!!

FURTHER UPDATE!!! it connected whilst I was playing a game on my laptop. I updated my AVG and had to restart my laptop and when i restarted it would not connect again. This rules out incorrect WEP Key but could still be interference maybe from neighbours phones as the router and wireless are by the wall that adjoins the houses. Will try to move them to other side of the room to see if it makes a difference but would still like some input from someone with more knowledge than myself... Please assist in anyway you can. The router is from Virgin and the wireless is a netgear

Is your router's firmware up to date? Anything of that manner? What's the difference between your wifi network and your friend's?

It doesn't have to be interference.
