SSD recommendations!

Hi all!

Just wanting your helpful thoughts what SSD to get. I'm looking 80GB or larger drive max price around 200€.

Buying one at this very day I'd consider sufficing with a cost effective 64GB drive like the Crucial C300. There are some 25nm based SSD's on their way out like the Micron/Crucial C400 series but availability and price does not seem set in stone yet. They should be especially good buys for larger drives due to 25nm cost benefits. But the difference in performance to say the existing 128GB C300 won't be exactly huge, as it is one of the faster 128GB consumer grade drives available.

from what i've seen... intel all the way..

but wouldn't you want to wait for the SATA 3.0 6GB/s drives to start popping out at an affordable price ? I'm sitting on the fence mostly for this single reason

Oldest disc in my RAID setup is making some bad noises (4 year old hdd) it's possible that it could fail soon.
