Avast block my internet

hello Hardware heaven, this is my first thread so be nice

- I got a major problem regarding my new anti-virus program "Avast Internet security". The thing is, that every time i start my firewall it just block my DNS-server, and my Internet fail..

- I used Bullguard before, but chooses to change because sometimes its good with new things, and when i bought Avast my Internet just failed. Then when i turned Avast firewall off my Internet works.. even though Bullguard is running with its firewall in the background.

- i don't have Bullguard anymore, so I'm kind of homeless and would like some protection. I would like to know, what i should write in Avast firewalls setting to fix this (:

--------------- I'm from Denmark, so perhaps my English isn't that good, hope you'll understand

Re: Avast block my internet

I'd run without the firewall part unless it's needed for informational purposes, like keeping track on the behavior of newly installed programs. But start by simply uninstalling Bullguard, as having doubles of antivirus and firewalls is asking for trouble.
