Asus P5QSE2 Motherboard 4 gigs Kingston DDR 2 1066 Ram 2x2 Gig modules 250 gig 7200 Seatagate 1 Gig Saphire 6870 Hi guys, Hopefully you could help me out with a ram related issue Ive been having.. Ive been running my 4 gigs ram in dual channel for a while and now all of a sudden I keep getting blue screens at random times ie. After playing MW2 for 20 - 30 mins, pc crashes with a blue screen(Memory dump) Tried allocating the memory to different slots, to no avail. Interesting part tho, when the memory is not in dual channel I dont have issues.. Any ideas? Many thanks!!!

Re: Ram issues Dual Channel
"Memory dump" means it is copying any sensitive data stored in your ram onto your hard drive. It doesn't mean your memory is the cause.
Run memtest, see if it's okay. If you're overclocking, try reverting to stock settings. Try seeing if the voltages on the ram is funky, etc etc. Have to go through a whole shpeal to try and figure what it is :P |

Re: Ram issues Dual Channel
don't get the old memtest.com one.. get the memtest 86+ always...
run it overnight or over the course of a long period of time for most accurate results.. if you get a single red error.. or thousands .. you know your problem is either your ram failed.. OR they are clocked to high.. to tight of settings.... or something wacko is happening.
