Anyone ever heard of it? Came across it in my browsings at Amazon.

Hydro Series? H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - Hydro Series - Cooling

The new low profile plate looks interesting -- curious how it compares to the H50 and H70.

It's kinda impressive that they find room inbetween such similar products as the H50 and H70 for a third product.

I too would be interested to see a comparison, but google didn't reveal any to me in a quick search. Was this launched quietly quite recently?

Feb 2011 was it's release date, and I don't know of anywhere that is shipping them right now (Amazon says it will ship in 2 weeks).

No. The cold plate is just what they call the base of the block.

It refers to the water block design.

These are made by CoolIT, unlike the 50 and 70, which are made by Asetek.
