Re: Bios update

I dont think there the numbers you need, if you run CPU-Z and click mainboard and jot down the manufacturer and model we should be able to find it (click the pic for CPU-Z download)

You are going to need to state the Exact Motherboard you are using.

What you have posted is usless as it stands.Phoenix provide the basic info for the Motherboard manufactures to add there specifics to the code.

IE Asus,MSI,Abit,Gygabyte etc.

Re: Bios update

I think if CPU-Z cant tell you what you have your gonna be s**t out of luck, saying that you could try Belarc adviser and look where it says "system model and main circuit board"
(usual thing, click the pic)

This. At least find out the manufacturer, then we can start to narrow it down based on other specifications.

If it was a prebuilt PC, and you happen to know the make and model, that'd be a good start too.

Re: Bios update

No markings on board except as above (Nova-3720R-C1G-SV)
Should have mentioned that the pc is a pos terminal manufacted by FEC and the manual refers to motherboard as Nova 3720 as well.. I guess its an oddball setup

Re: Bios update

oh wow.. a POS system..... i think your going to be getting into an area where a bios update is more slim than most typical prebuilts are..

I've had to deal with 2 POS systems.. and both of which while different manufacturers, were simply non-excistant for bios updates... and lacked information on them ...

good luck though
