I would stick the 7300 in, and reflash with a previous bios, i would probably try
5893 first, and take it from there, if you wish to move to a newer one after confirming that one works do so until you hit whichever one introduced the problem. Or just stick with 5893 if it works without problem. Usually unless the newer bios fixes a particular issue you have just stay with what you've got.

I know some of us know this, but still get tempted....... I mean, "it's new, must be better, right?". Most don't know this and think every update MUST be done..... Not true.

Yes i know i am awre of that.... But as i said i like to keep my options upgraded...

So to i have just made a succesfull recovery... with the one craig mention...

Going to shut down now to try the 460...

If i seen the problems with the Latest bios i would of simply avoided it.

BTW

I have one question and this goes to either stu or craig...

Although i did pm Stu about the bios.. If it were fully updated... Stu did say it were either the latest or the very nearist.

So i don't know who put together the bundle you sent me do you know which bios version the motherboard were shipped with ?

As that worked fine.. I just dont have the fast boot options with this one. (5893)

I put it together, i'm not sure which bios I had it running with tbh.

Fast boot should still be an option under the Boot menu.

From the manual:

Fast Boot
Boot
• Enable • Disable
Enable or disable Fast Boot features. In order to disable Fast Boot without entering BIOS setup, power down the system for 5 seconds, then power it back on while holding the power button for 2 seconds (the system will beep).
