Is It possible??

i was thinking to chain p2, p3,p4 computers and use it as one to make the processing

is it possible or is it some thing i was dreaming to do

if possible then help to set up please

Don't know much about it, but it sounds like Beowulf Cluster Beowulf cluster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia is one way to go, need to find things that are cluster-friendly though - they key point is beibng able to distribute workload, not just to threads on the same machine, but to threads on other machines.

One example is with some video rendering software, which can hand off frame processing to multiple systems.

i used a cluster using the software that came with bryce to do rendering..

i had 3 computers all different makes and styles....

If you willing to find the right software..... and a solid network connection, you can cluster process almost anything....

the pricetag on specific software however is not cheap

unfortunately i couldn't recommend anything that could be used to say share the processing power to run windows xp or vista or something..

your current knowledge on that may actually surpass mine.
