Re: Building Budget Llano Rig
![]() Current Choices, no DVD writer in this order, I have $309 in my checking account atm and this comes to $294. I can install windows from a usb drive for now. I dont have enough for a monitor for a few weeks so im debating on ordering everything I can now, Just buy a couple pieces that are on sale or bundled... or waiting until I have enough to buy it all at once by then there might be a better sale price on the items

Re: Building Budget Llano Rig
The powersupply is certainly plenty, though I know not how good it is. Anyway even on a strict budget it's best to consider a new CPU cooler, as the one included is a sorry piece of aluminum fins only construct that works solely because the fan can run at over 4000 r/min when needed. Any cheap heatpipe cooler like for instance AMD's own that come with more expensive CPU's is a lot better, could you by chance find that somewhere for a few bucks. Otherwise Negegg has some coolers in the $15-20 range that are worlds apart from the stock part.
