Building Budget Llano Rig

Evenin, The rig in my signature I sold a few days ago. Looking to purchase a cheaper rig about $450 is my max that's including a monitor, Hopefully

llano A8 and Gigabyte Motherboard Bundle - $215

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!

Ram: 4GB Adata ddr3 1600mhz - $33

Newegg.com - ADATA XPG Gaming Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model AX3U1600GB2G9-2G

I would prefer 8gb not not so sure itll be put to good use

Harddrive: Seagate Baracuda - $43

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148767

*Edit: went from a 65$ 750gb Drive a $43 500gb One, Im used to far more storage but I can always add more later

Optical Drive: Samsung 22x DVD-RW $19

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG CD/DVD Burner 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 24X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model SH-222AB - CD / DVD Burners

Power Supply: Still debating... I have a lightly used Raidmax 400w lying around 18A on the 12v. I really believe itll be sufficient but im open to comments

Case: I have a Cooler Master CM690II lying around im going to use.

I have speakers/Mouse and keyboard.

Total of things listed is $335

Which would be fabulous, but thats if the PSU I have is sufficent.

So what do you guys think, what would you change, and can you possibly save me money without drastically cutting performance

Current Choices, no DVD writer in this order, I have $309 in my checking account atm and this comes to $294.

I can install windows from a usb drive for now.

I dont have enough for a monitor for a few weeks so im debating on ordering everything I can now, Just buy a couple pieces that are on sale or bundled... or waiting until I have enough to buy it all at once by then there might be a better sale price on the items

Re: Building Budget Llano Rig

The powersupply is certainly plenty, though I know not how good it is. Anyway even on a strict budget it's best to consider a new CPU cooler, as the one included is a sorry piece of aluminum fins only construct that works solely because the fan can run at over 4000 r/min when needed. Any cheap heatpipe cooler like for instance AMD's own that come with more expensive CPU's is a lot better, could you by chance find that somewhere for a few bucks. Otherwise Negegg has some coolers in the $15-20 range that are worlds apart from the stock part.
