AGFAPhoto Cameras
Anyone have any experience with this brand of camera? I'm specifically interested in this one...

Re: AGFAPhoto Cameras
Apparently no one here is familiar with and/or owns an AGFAPhoto Camera.
Well, there's at least one now who does: Me! I picked up the camera from Fry's Monday afternoon. At $119 + tax, it is a STEAL! I've been playing around with it and, so far, I'm not disappointed...except for maybe the lack of WideScreen video capturing. However, I really don't do that much video with a digital camera. After I get a few more photos taken, I'll post up some for review. |

Re: AGFAPhoto Cameras
That's really good to hear.
I know that AGFA has been in photography for ages, but I've never even seen a digital camera of theirs in the flesh.

Re: AGFAPhoto Cameras
Must be something completely new, it's not avaliable here in Sweden yet. Looks interesting though, similar to my old Konica Minolta Z2, but more advanced.
Wouldn't go for that type of camera again though, next camera for me will be a digital system camera. Even if a "compact" like this has a lot of features it still lacks in flexibility. |

Re: AGFAPhoto Cameras
Same layout as my Canon..... Very comfortable and easy to use. Enjoy the new gear.

Re: AGFAPhoto Cameras
Here are just a few samples as I play with some settings. Many of the images I have are too big for Imageshack and I'll have to resize them in order to upload them. OR, I'll have to host them elsewhere.
You need to click the link rather than me post the direct image. Otherwise the image is HUGE! http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/5512/apdc0001.jpg http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/4377/apdc0016.jpg This third one was done without a tripod. You'll notice some blur when you view it full size.... http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/8229/apdc0038.jpg |

Re: AGFAPhoto Cameras
This was taken last night. It's at full 15X Digital Zoom using a tripod and timed shot to remove any possible shake....
