exclamation evga classified motherboard

EVGA Classified SR-2 270-WS-W555-A2 LGA 1366 Intel 5520 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HPTX Intel Motherboard

so, i was looking at motherboard and found this interesting.

seems like they uses 12 slots of rams supporting 48gb, with 2 1366 CPUs.

do anyone uses this motherboard?

if so, could you tell me the performance on this thing?

The motherboard is designed really for people with obscene amounts of cash to spend on their PCs - 12 slots for RAM (though not all have to be filled), usually 2 Xeon processors and more PCI-Express slots than you can shake a stick at.
In answer to your question, yes there are people her that either own it or have used it but I'm not one of them...

Essentially, it's the only dual-Xeon board designed for "home" users; server motherboards aren't designed with gaming in mind (only 1 PCI-Express slot usually, which isn't x16).

If you're thinking of buying it, you're better off holding off for the next-gen processors. Socket 1366 is end-of-line as of this year.
