electrical buzz noise.

I seem to have a problem which seems to be grounding related - i hear a "buzz" in my headset - which "stops when i touch the PC Case. Grounding the case could solve the noise problem, but isn't this dangerous for the PC components? - like a future short-circuit? - or is this normal... since i have this PC for 4 years so far no problems like that, but just recently i noticed the source of that buzz noise (use to think is poor drivers or software related).

Re: electrical buzz noise.

If you can put the system to a plug that is grounded. I had similar issues and that solved it to me. Other solution would headset's cable so tha it won't run near any electrick cables.
