New Build after 3 Years. Need suggestions!

So my last build as come to an end with BF3 coming out. I need a new system, so I was shopping on the internet for a good and reliable PC. Here's what im going for, ANY SUGGESTIONS is good so please, help if you can.

CPU : Intel i7 2600k 3.4Ghz
Heatsink : Corsair A70
Mobo : Asus P8Z68-V Pro
Ram : Corsair Vengence 2x4GB 1600mhz
PSU : Seasonic 760w Modular 80+
HHD1 : SSD Intel 320 120GB [Sata2] <---- Help me here. Im new to SSDs
HHD2 : WD Caviar Black 2TB 7200 64M [Sata3]
GPU : eVGA GF GTX580 1536M
Case : Corsair Obsidian 650D

I want it to be able to last 3 years like my previous system.

Looks good. That SSD will do fine as OS drive. If you want you might look those new SSD's that are using SATA3. Like Corsair Force GT

I just saw the Intel 510 series... Might just upgrade to that one. Many ppl had problem with OCZ and Corsair SSDs... I wanna be sure to get a good one [not the best but the most reliable]

Does look good. If you're not planning on SLI-ing, you could get an ASUS Matrix GTX 580, the Sparkle Calibre GTX 580, or the Galaxy GTX 580 w/ Arctic Cooling...all three are triple slot, higher clocked, and stay super-super cool.

I'd also recommend getting an H60 or H70 over an A70 -- the cooling will be better and let you overclock higher. But any way you slice it, this rig should definitely last at least three years

Looks good, I'm on the i7-2600k and P8Z68-V Pro with 8GB Vengeance. Very solid board and great CPU, not had any issues whatsoever.

I'm using the Crucial M4 for SSD, I do recommended the upgrade to a SATA3 drive.

Thank you guys for those tips. Im on a budget also and dont wan to spend more than 2k [cdn] on my rig. Im @ 1970$ but I have to add 80$ for the Intel 510 SSD. So, Im on the limit lol, but realy, thank you. I knew I had to come here before buying it. Been this way for 6years. You guys are the best, ty.

The bulldozers are coming out in a few weeks and the benchmarks look pretty competitive... And you could save $$$...

Ive had bad 2 bad experience with AMD. No chance I'm going back.

I went with the Asus Matrix GTX580 and a Intel 510 SSD

I just got myself an ASUS Matrix 580 and am loving it. The built in OC buttons and the LED-indicating GPU usage are so cool, especially with a sidewindow! You'll love it (: post pics!

Hmm if you build systems every three years then I would say your last AMD experience was either in 2k5 or 2k2 which would leave AMD with chipsets that were not that great (been with AMD since the beginning), but as of now AMD chipsets are very reliable and I have not seen many issues with them.

But another way to look at it is when AMD releases their chips Intel will likely react with a price drop and a release of new chips (2700K). But again this is up to you and this should happen within the next 2-3 weeks. I also know AMD plans on releasing their 7000series graphics cards by the end of the year, but I wouldn't put much on waiting for those as we don't have a clear release date for them.

Good thing I got the Intel 2600k....I was really shocked with the Bulldozer's results... Like I said earlier, I had 3 big problems with AMD, so it was an easy choice for me.

Yeah. I got this monitor 3 years ago and I dont think Im gonna switch it anytime soon. 24" is perfect for gaming and I also plugged my 46" LCD TV to my computer. When I listen to youtube, live concert and movies, I often use the 46" with Headphones.
