Memory .."cleaners"??
Does anyone out there use them now, or has anyone used them in the past. Just wondering if they are an item that would be a worth while install on a system, or just a waste of HD space.
All comments welcome and appreciated!

What do you mean exactly by memory cleaners? Do you mean programs that free up system memory?

I tend to agree. A very minimal difference usually!

This is the OSes job and if the OS doesn't do the job right you can do nothing about it. Well except change the OS offcourse or revrite the memory handling routines if you know how and have access to the source.

I thing they are BS. They were quite useful on 9X machine but on NT's the WIndows has much better memory management.
