I may be wrong, but I thought this was something to do with the Windows registration process. I don't have it running. You are using a good product key aren't you?

Default Post BTW, you only need to delete the one reg key...

BTW, you only need to delete the one reg key, if you're doing it manually, and not using the batch file. See below:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertif icates\ROOT\Certificates
and delete the folder under it:
2BD63D28D7BCD0E251195AEB519243C13142EBC3
Restart Windows and "For Testing Purposes" will be gone.

Found that somewhere... can't remember where. It's not mine. I've used it though and works fine, deleting just that one reg key

Why delete two, when you only need delete one?

yeah, by deleting that second key (everyone has it so it is a system key) you should have something f*cked up!

You've got it wrong pal, why delete one when you can delete two
Wwherever you found it, this was the place where they got it in the first place

Guys it's just a batch file, you can simple right click it, select edit, and remove the other Registry entry, save the bat file, then close it, now it will only remove the one key. Batch files, just make things faster, I use them for cleaning temp files, index.dat files, and any other useless stuff, also starting and stopping of programs, Batch deletions, Batch Renaming,

I have nothing against batch files I write and use them too
if one knows how they work it is pretty simple stuff
but you have a lot of people out there that don't even know that you can right click and click on edit and see what's in it, and there are loads of batch files out there to download
that it's in their best interest not to do so, unless they really know what they are doing.

Jerry
