Need comments on my New computer

Hi,

I'm about to buy a computer. the specs are:

Intel Pentium 2,4 GHz HT
Asus P4P800
Corsair TWINX512-3200LL
ATI Radeon 9600 PRO 128 MB

well, the rest of the peripheral i already got. so what's your comment ? is it GOOD enough ? what about the speed ?

Looks like a pretty decent setup to me...but you might consider getting either the 9700p or 9800p...or even the 9500pro instead...

I say that is a very nice little system! Good speed and everything are top shelf products. Would be a great rig for a lot of people.

Only porblem with the 9600pro is that it's almost no better than the 9500pro... But that's sufficient for most people.

if i get GeForce FX 5900 / ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128 / 256 MB, i have to spend more money, since i'm not a hardcore gamer. i think it will be enough for me

BTW, can my P4P800 use 500MHz memory module ?

looks like a nice system you'll have there.

Have you considered an Abit board? I've just bought one and the overall package is excellent if you buy one of the top end ones. (i.e. better than any Asus board i've ever used).
