What do you guys think? I'm in competition between these two RAM modules, going to be going along with a ABIT NF7-S and a XP1700+ Tbred-B JIUHB DLT3C 1.5V 0317. Help me out, or maybe some of you can recommend GeiL?
I'd like to keep it under $150 if possible, hehe... cant spend much on RAM, not worth it IMO. I have no basis for what I'm writing, but Kingston has always been reliable, and I've used it in all of my computers. However, I've never overclocked it either. Take my measley advice as it is... that is to say, not much ;p.

I have found that my PC3700 RAM bottlenecks my CPU. I have clocked my AMD 2500+ to 2.2GB (3.0GB Intel P4 Equivalent) and the FSB is itchn for 233mhz but my CPU just cant hold out
So I reccomend only getting this RAM if you can afford AMD 3200+ and overclock the crap out of it, then run ay FSB to the max @ 233mhz!

Drop your multi and raise the FSB. (A rule to live by)

Yeah, drop the multi and raise the fsb. Those sticks can go much higher if your mobo can handle it. I have also noticed that they hate more than 2.6v so watch out. Btw, you can really run those at CAS2? |
