Default Post Windows XP OEM

Can anyone help me? Does anyone know of a workaround to a Dell Windows 2000 OEM? I've already upgraded my Dell to Windows XP Pro and I don't want my OEM "to go to waste."
Thanks.

Not for sure what you are asking, If you want to use XP and W2K, you can set up a dual boot system, which is what I have.

Default Post what I mean

I mean that I want to use the OEM (Windows 2000 Pro) that was originally in my Dell Latitude C810, installing the OEM on another nonDell dekstop. I did find a workaround before but I can no longer what I exactly did. I remember using the bootup diskettes then calling the OEM CD.

you should never install a oem on a computer where it isn't made for

following methods will work (pick one of them only):

{
method 1: use a regular windows 98 bootdisk with cd support and boot into dos. go to your cd drive's i386 folder and run "winnt.exe" and continue with the setup.
}

{
method 2: find/download/get the windows 2000 installation bootdisks from a friend or from somewhere. I think this file has them: http://www.etplanet.com/windows/boot...2000%20Pro.exe
just boot up from disk 1 and work your way through the installer.
}

These are the only two ways I can think of installing windows with bootdisks.

ok maybe it works, but it always better NOT to install a oem on a computer where it isn't made for
