Sapphire PCB color ??

Hello everyone!

I'm going to get a new mid-range card soon, and as I read through some reviews, it seemed obvious to me, that I should get a 9500Pro (instead of the weaker 9600Pro), so as you might know these cards are rare today, I seem to have found 2 dealers which still have them in stock.

The first one is a respectble dealer here in germany, offering the Hercules 9500Pro retail for $280 (I know that sounds much, but prices in Germany are always a lil bit higher).

The second dealer is new on the market, and he sells the Sapphire 9500Pro retail for $250.

So as I prefer the Sapphire one, the second dealer says, that Sapphire cards are sold in two different PCB colors with two different coolers. So I'm a little unsure know, if this one is honorable or trying to sell me bullshit.

So now two questions for u folks:

a) Does anyone know, if this color/cooler thingy is true

b) Is the performance of the 9500 Pro (over the 9600Pro) that much better to justify a $50 dollar premium?
