I've got an MSI K7N2 board but the Asus is also an excellent choice! You can't go wrong with either!

DONT BUY THE MSI BOARD , i owned that board and in the first 6 months i had to get it replaced 4 TIMES!, the first one would not post,2nd had hourendous sound quality and that was also the problem with the 3rd one, and the 4 board stopped booting up when at default 133mhz fsb it would only boot at 100mhz fsb and that was when I tried it with a diffrent cpu and ram and it was even tested by the store that I bought it at and even they said it was defective, the MSI board also has a problem with the USB being detected during OS installation I actually had to boot up to a Linux installation disk first in order for the USB be detected and than i put in the Windows Xp cd and started the installation and i have seen a lot of people have this problem with the MSI BOARD,thankfully I had warranty and at the time the only board they had with the nforce2 chipset was the ASUS board so thats what i got as a replacment and it is absoulutly the best motherboard I have ever owned!

My vote is for the Asus A7N8X DLX as long as it is a Rev. 2 board. I have built several of these and have to say there are an awesome board, full of features. I have built 2 of them for myself, a Rev. 1.04, sold it and bought a Rev. 2.0.....didn't overclock well enough for me.......so I sold it and bought an Abit NF7-S Rev. 2........and now I am loving life
If you are going to run pretty close to stock speed and want a full featured board with great reliability and support........get the Asus. Alienware and Falcon NorthWest both use it on there high end systems.Alienware Falcon NorthWest It is the #1 board used by companies in this category.
