Bought my self a Koolance
PC2-601BLW
I must say I am very impressed, the cooling system is so quiet, the only noise I hear coming from my computer is the noise the hard drives make. My CPU temp is 29c idle 34c after 30 min t full load. Assembly was very easy, no leaks first try. Wasn’t cheep though, the case and 3 water blocks cost about $500.00 Cdn, but when you hate the sound of fans as much as I do its worth every penny. |

Overclocked or stock? I was only able to hit 38C with my watercooling setup.

The abiant temp here is like 30C and I was overclocked to extremes. 1.85V and 2346MHz.

Go with the Promethia from chipcon it cools better then the Kryotech cases and there are ways to make it cool even better then stock

Yeah it still has fans but instead of little ones spinning at 7000RPMs its one big one spinning at 3400 RPMs it makes a big difference and you can even reduce the speed and make even less noise

True, but I got this small problem sleeping next to a compressor full of deadly gas WC is the ultimate in price, performance, and safety. Wish I had gotten the Koolance Exxos myself, that way I wouldn't have a radiator sitting on the floor

Aircooling beats the crap out of watercooling, prometia and all that stupid crap.
SLK-800(A), Ceramique, and a SmartFanII, Vantec Tornado, or Delta Fan for me... but you know what's better than any of this? Liquid Nitrogen

LN2 doesn't hold a candle to any other form of Cooling if you put in price of operation, a few thousand dollars for a few minutes of use, why not just make a cascading vapor phase cooler, get the same tmeperates and never have to worry about going out and getting a few hundred gallons of nitrogen to run your computer for a game of MOH AA

I got that Koolance Case in Blue. I just finished cutting two fan holes in the side window. Sinse, I would appreciate it having more than just one intake fan.
The Promethia is the ultimate pre-made cooler. Air-Cooling can be good, like I had a Swiftech MX5000 + Vantec Tornado. It kept my CPU around 25c-load. Except it could be heard over my vacume cleaner three rooms away.
