Question about Hyperion 4in1 v4.49

Um where link for xp users on that site I don't see one. All there is for windows 98 and winme. When I download the program it said Can't run 16-bit windows program?

Did you go to www.viaarena.com to get it? As far as I know, it's for all Windows OS's. THAT one seems to be fine on my WinXP system, unlike the one that released a few days ago(4.49p beta from....Warp2Search...I believe

) which goofed my system until I reverted to 4.48.

To reiterate, the one at viaarena (4.49p2) works right. At that site, they suggest that Win98/ME users should use 4.35 in their systems as newer 4in1's don't really take 98/ME into consideration anymore.

on another note that miniport ide drive that was released with the "beta" 49p increased my PcMark2002 HD score by over 250... with the 49p2 the miniport drive was missing...

whys that? I mean the performance boost was pretty damn nice and I didnt suffer from any stability problems? Anyway i installed the 49p2 and then installed the miniport drive from the "beta", but only got 200 hd score increase this time.. hm...

There is still a glitch in the ones released ....installed it on a system and it refused to boot back into windows....so gonna have to reformat or try a repair....would not let me into safe mode or anything
