okee, it might be my 64mb RAM card from way back when, so my question is now, does 64mb of memory really make that much of a difference on a system with 320mb SDRAM total? *goes to take out the RAM*

mind you, it doesent necessarily mean the ram sticks are faulty, could be dust or else
Example: I had lately a machine that keep going weird; stop errors, halfway restart and more M$ stuff
1) tryed another G.Card worked first, after cold restart did not work.
2) put out one 64mb ramstick, worked and kept working
3) changed for the other 64 ramstick, worked and kept working
4) put both in again, and was going weird again
5) exchanged the ramsticks places, and all was well, and still is

OMG I took out the 64mb RAM stick and it's running perfectly.....

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AY

Only three years of feeling the need to kill my PC from these crashes... all could have been averted because of one simple RAM stick, oy -_-

Thank you everyone who helped... maybe in a few days or weeks I will go try to put the 64mb stick in slot #2, but not for awhile... now back to Morrowind... *drool*

EDIT: one thing I forgot to add, I hope to become a somewhat decent member on here, so I'll keep in touch, unless I'm too annoying, haha.
