Well, just assuming because, your old board is a 'Soya' I would think it would be way better.

One of the best i865 motherboards out there.
I nearly bought it myself and at the last minute diverted to Asus P4P800 Deluxe only for price reasons.

The MSI is one of the few with CSA gigabit nic, this relieves a lot of stress from the super crowded pci bus.
Congratulations!
You can find a lot of helpful messages at the MSI official forum http://www.msi.com.tw/program/e_service/forum/main.php

I also would agree, that board from everything I have read and seen, is the best 865PE board out.
A ways back TomsHardware did a 24 MotherBoard review. Don't know if you read it but, the Neo2 won all out, over all of the current 875P and 865PE boards in speed. This of course being because, it is 'not' Intel PAT enabled... what a joke.... I think you will be very happy with it.

Link if you would like to read it: http://www17.tomshardware.com/mother.../i875p-71.html
