Athlon Xp 2000+ and Asus A7V8X-X

Got a question for you guys I just upgraded my computer this weekend to a Athlon Xp 2000+ and Asus A7V8X-X mobo w/ a 200W powersupply. When I tried to change my CPU speed under the BIOS to get my computer running at 1.67GHZ, it ran for about 20-30 mins then it shut off. Now is it that I need a better fan for my CPU or am I doing something wrong. All I changed on the BIOS was the CPU speed. Next question is my video card...I have a Radeon 9200 AGP 8X and when I run 3DMark it shows that I'm running at 115 Core clock speed and 115 Memory Speed. I had downloaded Rage 3D, a program made for tweaking Radeon video cards and changed the settings but nothing changed after I restarted. Thanks for your help in advance

Think i have it handled (he had me on MSN and i talked to him.... referred him to driverheaven... and he asked the question).... later i asked what PSU he was running and found out it was 200 WATTS... (he then edited the above thread)... Anyways, i got him hooked up with a 300 or 350 watt Enermax PSU.. and told him to shutdown till he gets it installed (better not push it my thoughts)...... anyways, hopefully we see him back here with good news!

I think a 200W power supply is a little too weak to be running an Athlon XP CPU. I would pick up a >350W one with at least 15A on the +12V rail.
