I've been reading some reviews on the Sapphire 9600pro Ultimate, is this card already overclocked by Sapphire? Is this what the "Ultimate" part entails? I want to buy this card, yet i'm not sure how much faster it is too the normal ATI Radeon 9600pro 128mb...
Can someone please discuss the likes of this card? Chris |

take a look here
It is passive cooling not active so that is what they are refering to as far as I know |

i have the sapphire 9600pro version of that card and the stock is 400/300 and is oc to 450/330 with no problems.
see what the stock speeds are for the ultimate if greater than 400/300 then it is probably an oc card. and i think it has a heatpipe instead of a fan. Last edited by MIG-31; Sep 15, 2003 at 06:47 PM. |

yeah it does have a heat pipe, with custom memory heatsinks, and it still runs cold and supposedly just as fast (y wouldn't it?)
I think its overclocked but the sites i've seen it on havn't mentioned anything about that... thanks though |
