Problems after Norton auto-update..

Since yesterday, after my Norton Firewall/Anti-Virus program auto-updated, I have been having multiple problems with both machines at home. They both use the same firewall/anti-V and are connected onto the same router. After the auto-update I tried loging into the online game I play, Asheron's Call, and it won't connect, then it tells me that my system has recovered from a serious error, and it names Norton as the problem, and turns off the firewall. I tried a system restore on both pc's, 1 was successful the other couldn't successfully restore.

I also tried a system scan on poth pc's but they come up with no viruses found, just wondering, does it sound like I have been infected, or is this just a majorly crappy update causing all these errors, I will e-mail symantec about it too, and see what they say.

Perhaps norton is deeming asheron's call a program not suitable to be run on anyones computer.
