Ingame movies throw me out to the desktop

Lately two games have forced me remove the ingame movies to start up: Colin Mcrae Rally 3 and Nosferatu demo

I have the latest Ace mega codec pack installed, catalyst 3.7 and also the indeo video fix from windows update. I have also tried the suggestions from codemasters homepage: http://www.codemasters.co.uk/support...hp?gameid=1151

The funny thing is that i can play those ingame movies when i manually search them up. No problems. But when they are about to start in the game i get thrown out to the desktop.

It´s almost like i´m missing a codec, but if that´s the case: How can i watch them when i start them manually?
