Overall performance from old comp to new?

what is the average overall performance I will get when upgrading FROM:
Asus P4T533-C
P4 2.4ghz 533 FSB
512 Rdram PC800
Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb
TO:

Asus PC800-E Deluxe
P4 2.6 800 FSB
512 DDR PC3200 Corsair TwinX
Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb

thay is not an upgade path i would spend money on. wait till 2nd gen prescott & pci express next year. how come you are running pc800 instead of pc1066? & not overclocking?

Im running pc800 because when I first bought this board a year ago, the pc1066 didnt work. So I guess im just using pc800. Yea, maybe i'll waitfor next generation of board and cpu and buy a new system.

a little bit, nothing you would notice other than in a benchmark.
Wait, save the money, get a better mouse, monitor, chair, keyboard or whatever. You'll notice the benefit there.

in what way did the 1066 not work? i know several people with this board & mem & theirs are fast, especially when you consider how old the 850 is.in fact the only thing faster is 865/875 & nforce 3(nforce2 is almost even).
